

Born in Pickens, SC, Mr. Bell was the son of the late James L. and Merty Durham Bell. He was a faithful member of Life Church in Piedmont, and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Surviving are three sons: Jess Bell, Jr. and wife Cheryl Agnew-Bell of Greenwood, Bobby L. Bell and wife Debbie Bell of Piedmont, and Paul T. (Tommy) Bell of Piedmont; grandchildren: Jeff Bell and wife Lisa, Robie Bell, Tim Bell and Michael Little, David Bell, and Alicia Harris; step-grandchildren: Tara Harris, Rev. Dr. Travis Agnew, and Denise Shelton; great-grandchildren: Weston Bell, Grayson Bell, Caroline Bell, and Morgan Sullivan, Brandon Harris and Skylar Harris, AudriAna Snipes, AriAna Keys, Alana Cooley, and Ashland Cooley; and step-great-grandchildren: Dillon Shelton, Dalton Shelton, Obadiah Agnew, Eli Agnew, Gloria Agnew, Harper Harris, and Mary Harris.
He is survived by two brothers: Rev. Charles Bell and wife Carolyn Bell, and James Luther Bell and wife Gloria Bell; and two sisters: Thelma Morrison, and Bethel Lenius and husband Gene Lenius.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bell was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Pauline Keasler Bell; and a son, Donnie Bell.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 19th at 3:00pm in the Chapel at Woodlawn Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Charles Bell, Rev. Dr. Travis Agnew, and Charles Jennings. A visitation will be held one hour prior from 2:00-2:45pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, and burial will occur after the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
