Joey was fun loving and never met a stranger. For over 20 years she dedicated her life to improving the well-being of others through her work as a physical therapy assistant. Her passion for helping people was felt by all her patients, especially the elderly. During the summer months, Joey would delight in spending joyful days at the water park with her beloved daughter, Ella.
Joey is survived by her husband Danny Coker; daughter Ella Coker; father Roy Erwin (Stephanie); father-in-law Keith Coker and her mother-in-law Debra Mode; sister Patty Cadwell; brother Nick Erwin; aunt Lisa Erwin; niece Hillary Adams; nephew Jonathan Cadwell her best friends Dawn and Ryan Miller.
She is predecaesed by her mother Diane Wiley and her grandparents Lee and Lillian Erwin.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn, 1 Pine Knoll Dr. Greenville, SC 29609.
