Judy Jo Nelson

Judy was a devoted wife of 45 years to Robert Earl Nelson. She was an avid gardener that loved her rose garden. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was a retired employee of the Town of Ridge Spring where she worked for 10 years. Her faith in the Lord and attitude for life was an amazing example.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Marie Powell. In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by 2 daughters, Cindy Nelson Poore and Pam Nelson Creamer; a brother, Joe Caccamo; a beloved aunt, Rose Stubbs; 8 grandchildren, Kristen Powell, Austin Powell, Mary Kate Chandler, Ella Poore, Jacob Poore, Hannah Poore, Madison Creamer, and Paden Creamer; and 3 great-grandchildren, Braxton Powell, Graycen Smith, and Keaton Powell.

The family will receive friends at 1:30pm Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Rd. (Hwy 25), Piedmont, SC 29673. A funeral service will follow in the Mausoleum Chapel at 2:30pm with burial following in the cemetery.
