Keith served at Bob Jones University for 40 years in various capacities including Manager of the Bookstore and Snack Shop, Manager of Institutional Affairs and a teacher of Business and Bible.
While on staff at the university, he started Boy Scout Troop 519 and served as a role model for many young men, some of whom have kept in touch with him ever since their Boy Scout days because of the impact he made on their lives.
Keith was privileged to serve in several positions at his home church of many years where he was a Sunday school teacher and also served on the deacon board, and missions committee of Southside Baptist Church.
During his retirement years he spent much of his time writing his own commentaries on the books of the New Testament and Psalms.
Keith valued his relationship with Jesus Christ above all other things and his life reflected that. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather whose family meant everything to him.
He is survived by his children, Sharon Mock Laing (Rob), John Eric Mock (Linda), and Deanna Mock Cash (Anthony), four grandchildren, Rob (Jessica), John (Kara), Shari Leigh (Jesse), Abby (Sam) and three great grand children, his sister, Karen Mock Bowman and several nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Alice Parks Mock; his daughter Sarah Louise, and his second wife, Blandina Coelho to whom he was married for 9 years.
Keith's children are planning a Celebration of Life service in March so please check back here for updated information.
Any donations honoring Keith's life can be made to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews whom he supported for many years with his gifts and prayers.
