Mary Craig Kramer died on December 28, 2014 at Covenant Place, Sumter SC where she had been a resident for several years. Ms. Kramer was born in Pickens SC on February 5, 1920 to Ernest Hampton and Nancy Roper Craig. She was a graduate of Greenville High School and Furman University, and had worked as an executive secretary with the Greenville Hospital System before becoming the owner of Holiday Travel Agency. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Greenville and for many years taught Sunday School at Shriner's Children's Hospital. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by her twin brother David Craig, brothers James Ernest Craig, Lawrence Cotesworth Craig, and sisters Margaret Craig Fant, Amy Craig Rhoden, and Elizabeth Craig. Surviving Ms. Kramer are nephew Dr. Howard Roper Craig of Chapel Hill, NC, nieces Nancy Fant Boykin and Peggy Fant of Camden, SC, Sylvia Rhoden and Charlotte Rhoden of Richmond, VA. She was predeceased by nephew Dr. Larry Craig and nieces Ernestine Craig Silliman and Gena Fant Rabon. Graveside services will take place at Sunrise Cemetery in Pickens, SC at 3:00pm on Wednesday December 31, 2014.
