I only learned of her passing now.  We had fallen out of touch but when we were friends, she was always a special close friend to me because we could share the frustrations of having health issues! (I do not have FOP though)

We would exchange boxes of books back and forth through the years!  She got me reading some of who have become my favorite authors and even one that my Dad and sister enjoyed, too!

I miss her a ton and think of her so often, almost daily.  She was such a bright light and I cherish the opportunity I had to share my life with her while we were friends.

My heart is broken! I just learned of this news today! Libby was my child hood best friend! My memories of her included bike rides, setting up Barbie homes on the front porches and family rooms in our homes,  to playing “ apartment” on our back porches.  We both included our little brothers in numerous outdoor games and we often put together a garage band to practice our favorite song, “Bohemiam Rapsody”  I remember family get togethers  and many birthday parties. I remember we all caught the chicken pox around the same time.
The first time I noticed that Libby was limping, I thought she had just hurt her leg. As years went on and we grew, Libby and I lost touch. We became young women and I ended up moving. I never knew the severity of her disease until later. She was the one who found me on social media and we picked up where we left off with our friendship. For years she complimented me and my children, sent wishes of love to my family and sent encouragement to me if I was struggling. I begged to come see her so many times, but I guess she felt that would be too hard on us both. 
From her beautiful red hair to her most kind personality, I can say that this remarkable young lady was such an inspiration to me and many others! Her heart was made of gold and I will always cherish her beauty not only on the outside but on the outside as well!’God has received an angel and I know she is at rest and peace.
To the LaRue family- my prayers and thoughts are with you during this time. I’m am so very sorry for your loss! To her parents- I want to thank you for raising  such a beautiful and wonderful lady who inspired many! Especially me! As I lay here crying, I also smile knowing she is finally at peace with our Lord! 
I love you my dear friend, wait for me in heaven! We will laugh and play together one day again!
