She was born December 5,1951 in West Plains Missouri to her late parents, James Nolan and Hazel Marie Proffitt.
She is survived by her two daughters: Lori (John) Gentry and Andrea (Bobby) LeConey and granddaughters: Vivian and Olivia.
Nevva will be remembered by her two sisters: Vinnie Proffitt and Sheila Schindler also her brother, Woodard Proffitt and many extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Arnold Dennis McLerran and sister, Angela Sager.
In her early career she was in banking and bookkeeping. Then her talents lead her into makeup artistry and fashion retail. Then later came her passion for floral and interior design where her creativity thrived
Nevva was kind, caring and loving. She professed a deep faith in her savior Jesus Christ. Her blue eyes and contagious smile and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by many.
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Dr. Greenville, SC 29609 on Thursday July 6,2023 at 10 AM.
Memorial donations will go to Gideons Memorial Program for bible distribution worldwide in memory of Nevva McLerran.
