Patricia Ann Moody McKinney

Born in Greenville, South Carolina. She was a daughter of the late Lon Franklin and Josie Lee Moody. She was a graduate of Welcome High School. She was the owner of a family business, Couches Market on Pendleton Street in Greenville over 40 years.

She remained active in her church activities. She was an avid gardener and loved vacationing with family at Edisto Beach. She looked forward and enjoyed her weekly lunches with her niece's and friends.

She is survived by her cherished nieces and nephews: Linda Ledwell, Barry Green, Deborah Gilliland, Ralph "Pete" Green, Shirley Bensch, Sheila Medford, Sharon Alexander, Trudy Blackwell, Judy Chapman, Russ Elrod and Greg Elrod.

She was predeceased by three brothers: Lon C. Moody, Leon Moody, Douglas Moody and four sisters: Frances Green, Doris Boswell, Iva Jo Elrod, Connie Moody. Also, predeceased by one niece, Diane Hooper and two nephews: Mickey Green and Steve Green.

The entire family gives a special thanks to caregiver and companion, Judy Ladnier for her years of love and dedication. We are all eternally grateful. We would also like to thank for their loving care the staff at Waterstone On Augusta.

Services for Patricia will be held at Mackey Funerals and Cremations, 1 Pine Knoll Dr. Greenville, SC 29609 on Monday, April 20, 2026. Visitation begins at 11:00 AM followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made on behalf of Patricia to the Salvation Army.
