

Ralph Haselton Aiken, 86 of 300 Summerside Dr., died in the gentle care of Hospice and Rolling Green Village Nursing Greenville Saturday February 5th, 2022. He was born at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville May 8th, 1935, the son of the late Robert and Roberta Aiken.
He was a proud 1957 graduate of Clemson University. After serving three years in the US Air Force, he spent the majority of the next twenty years as an Architectural Engineer, Business Developer, and Vice President of JE Sirrine Company. His last 21 years were spent as President and owner of Aiken Cost Consultants. He also served as a Deacon, Sunday-School teacher, and on many committees throughout his adult life at Pendleton Street Baptist Church. In the past few years he became a member of Earle Street Baptist Church. He also served many years on the Board of Directors of the Boys Home of the South. In more recent years he has been a neighborhood leader and volunteer at Rolling Green Village Retirement Community.
Ralph would say his greatest accomplishment was marrying his high school sweetheart, Barbara McHaffie Aiken, who survives him. Other surviving members of his family are his brother Jerry Aiken, his son Brad Aiken and his wife Mary; his daughter Kitzi Aiken Craig and her husband Mike; grandchildren Greg Aiken and his wife Caroline; Maggie Aiken Toler and her husband Tad; Kathryn Craig Martin and her husband Ashley; Malinda Craig McCrary and her husband Zack; great grandchildren, Finley Martin, Aven Martin; Blakely McCrary; and Rhett Aiken. He is predeceased by a sister, Marillyn Aiken Hayes, and granddaughters Aubrey and Beth Craig, and a great granddaughter, Kellie Rynn Martin.
The Family will hold a private Celebration of Life service at Earle Street Baptist Church. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Earle Street Baptist Church at 225 W. Earle Street, Greenville, SC 29609. Online condolences may be made at www.mackeycenturydrive.com.
