Richard John Allen

Richard “Rick” John Allen, 71, of Greenville, passed away December 16, 2018. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana. The son of USN Capt. Robert Douglas Allen and Henrietta Marie Allen, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Eleanor Allen; son, Gregory Paul Allen (Shannon); brother, Robert Douglas Allen Jr. (Marion); nephew, Robert Douglas Allen III (Melissa); niece, Mary Allen Ferguson (Jason); his amazing grandnephew and grandnieces; and best friend, Jim Hatstat. He loved his family, friends and his dogs.

Rick was an Eagle Scout, Navy Veteran - squadron VA35, LSU graduate, and questionable joke teller. His sweet smirk and love will be dearly missed but always remembered.
