Robert Lee Haygood II

Robbie was born on July 13, 1981 in Columbia, South Carolina. He graduated from Riverside High School through the Lifelong Learning program in 1999. He went on to attend the International Culinary Academy in Pittsburgh, PA and earned an Associates Degree in 2001.

Robbie was employed by AAA Utility and Construction in Columbia, SC as an estimator.

Robbie was an avid Clemson fan and tried to never miss seeing a game.

He was of the Baptist faith and through his association with Teen Challenge in Columbia was able to visit many churches in the Columbia area. Because of the love and support of Teen Challenge Robbie was saved on July 12, 2021.

He is survived by his mother, Belinda C. Haygood of Taylors, SC, father and step-mother, Robert and Joye Haygood of Lexington, SC, uncle and aunt, Jim and Rhonda Haygood of Oak Ridge, NC and, step-uncle, Frankie Robinson (Kelley) of Easley, and step-grandfather, Jimmy Robinson of Easley, SC and several cousins.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Jane C. Robinson of Easley, SC, maternal grandfather, James Neal Coyle of Anderson, SC, paternal grandparents Horace and Barbara Haygood of Winnsboro and uncle, Rick Haygood of Winnsboro, and step-uncles, Randy and Danny Robinson of Easley.

Robbie was loved and supported by a large group of friends and coworkers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on November 7, 2023 at Taylors First Baptist Church chapel,

200 W. Main Street, Taylors, SC 29687 with burial following at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 at Taylors First Baptist Church chapel prior to the service.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Teen Challenge of Southeast in Columbia and the friends and staff of AAA Utility and Construction for the love they showed Robbie.
