We would go to our Nana's house about twice a month, and I loved it so much when we did. We would sit in her kitchen and eat fruit together, and I would always get cherry juice all over my mouth. She would watch us play outside, or climb her beautiful tree that she always loved. We could talk and talk and she would listen, and comment, and crack jokes. She cooked the most delicious pork I have ever tasted. She would brush our hair after baths, and would listen to us try and play on the piano. I love my Nana so much, and I miss her too.

Missy and John, I was saddened to hear of your mother’s passing.  I have fond memories of her friendship at Hampton Heights and also at Brushy Creek Elementary when we both worked there.  She was a Godsend when Kimberly got married, serving as wedding director and general support and advisor!  I always enjoyed her presence, and never believed her when she would say of herself that she was the “meanest white woman this side of the Mississippi!” LOL!

My mother and Father  and me  Sara cousin Imogene Allen Bouchillon my daddy Guilford  camping at Sadlers creek one summer around the curve . There was Joe Vanadore and Aunt Faye  Maybe there was three campers all together. We had such fun.  Joe let all the young teenagers ski seems like fifty times a day  All the food via Joe
 Sara and Ed were a beautiful couple.  Missy a toddler.  Sara had a sense of humor beautiful in every way.    My favorite cousin of my mother.  I love you       

Where to begin- All the family gatherings at Granddaddy‘s house, everyone was there. A genuine warmth with all my Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. My Dad with his Brownie camera, trying to capture the moments. He did. We have not lost all the footage.
Aunt Sara was such a wonderful Aunt. Terrell and I couldn’t wait to take Missy “trick-or-treating”. She was so cute. We didn’t have a sister. When John came along, all the more fun. Swimming at the pool in Summer, and Uncle Ed cooking burgers . Riding around looking at Christmas lights in the neighborhood.

Over too soon. I talked to Sara every week or so. We were going to get together soon.

So sorry for your loss.  Your mom was a wonderful woman who always made me, and I'm sure everyone else, fell welcome in her home.  As a teenager, and then later as an adult.  

She will be greatly missed.

Mrs Weaver was the perfect daunting mom that loved her kids more than any mom I know. She was so proud of you both! She was so much fun as the mom who always let me spend the night and stay up giggling keeping her awake...she was so nice about it. She also cooked a great meal. She  loved her church. She was a fantastic fast driver and would fill the back of the station wagon with kids and gladly take them somewhere fun like the lake or six flags. John was spoiled...let’s just call it. He had her under his spell. She delighted  in his creative mind. She loved Ed. She was so proud of Missy’s basketball talent and work ethic She loved to talk to you and was always laughing and smiling....she was love and support exemplified. We will miss you! Love J-bird

My thoughts and prayers to you John and Missy and all of your family.  I am heartbroken however my spirit is lifted when remembering the great times and I am also comforted knowing my Aunt Sara is now in the company of Angels and loved ones. Love to all of you
