William Scott Berry, age 66, passed away on July 23, 2025. A beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Scott will be remembered for his quick wit, his deep loyalty, and the way he made everyone feel seen and loved.
Scott made his home in Cornelius, North Carolina, where he found joy in spending time with his cherished friends and showing unconditional love to every animal he encountered.
He is survived by his loving siblings: Thomas Steven Berry and his wife Lori, Stewart White Berry and his wife Connie, and his sister Elizabeth Berry Rollyson. Scott was a proud and devoted uncle to Mason Park (Garrison), T.C. Berry, Austin Berry, Elliott Power, Hudson Berry, and Britton Rollyson. Each of them held a special place in his heart.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Clifton Berry and Patricia Berry.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Scott’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter in his memory.
