Sean's life was rich in experiences and his family and those closest to him will always remember what a fun-loving, Christian man he was. Many characteristics set Sean apart but most of all he was a kind man and known for his generosity, to the point that he donated a kidney to his sister without hesitation. No matter what happened in Sean's life, he never thought twice about giving the shirt off his back to someone in need, or freely giving his time and resources to others.
Sean found beauty in creation around him. He was content to sit or walk on the beach and simply watch the water roll in and out.. always admiring the simple things others could pass by each day and never notice. Sean was the type of man who would pick up a pinecone and marvel at God's creation. Sean enjoyed the outdoors, and traveling was especially a highlight of his life. One place he especially enjoyed was Hawaii, where he had plans to return this year with his fiancee Jeanne.
Sean's family was important in his life, especially his son Bryson and his two grandsons.
Sean graduated from Berea High School in 1984 and went on to Greenville Technical College to study computer science but Sean's career was not marked by one industry. He enjoyed building things and seeing things to fruition.. whether it was a house, a kayak, or a car. Sean's love for the Clemson Tigers will also be remembered.
Left to cherish Sean's memory are his parents Ronald and Glenda Jordan of Greenville, his fiancee Jeanne Arocho, his son Bryson Jordan (Kegyn), 2 grandsons Jameson and Wyatt who affectionately called him "Papa," his brother Tony Jordan (Christine), and sisters Rhonda Batson (Ricky), and Donna Stapleton (Dirk), uncle Don Jordan (Barbara) and aunt Martha Jordan. Sean is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Sean was predeceased by a baby sister Tracy Diane Jordan.
A memorial service to honor Sean's life will be held in the chapel at Mackey Funerals and Cremations, located at 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, SC, 29609. The service is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm. A committal service will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
