Steve gave so much of himself to others. If you needed him he was always there, always generous, thoughtful, strong, and kind. He often said, “it’s impossible to be depressed when you are helping other people”, and he lived that in his family, his friendships, and his service to others through Rotary, Sertoma, Ripple of One, Oconee Special Rescue and Dive Team, volunteering in the emergency room, and RPAC. Plus, he proudly served our country for 6 years in the Army Reserves.
He was a trusted friend, a mentor, a gentleman, a leader, a patriot, an honorable businessman and a guiding light to so many... Whether he was riding his Harley, or chairing a boardroom, he was diverse in so many ways and he loved people from all walks of life.
Steve had a big heart and a heart that will be deeply missed by so many!
Steve loved his family and he leaves behind his wife, Cecelia Lynn Bahan; his two daughters Elizabeth Sullivan (Andrew) and Jennifer Mahan (Brian); his stepson Steven Buckley (Pamela); his stepdaughter Jennifer Erickson (Brant). Steve adored his grandchildren and they were the joy in his life, Wyatt Sullivan, Gabriel Sullivan, Carson Colaluca, Grayson Graham, Ethan Graham and Chloe Buckley.
A funeral service for Steve will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, South Carolina 29609.
