Teresa was a Pawnbroker with Fast Cash Pawn for 16 years. Before working for Fast Cash, Teresa would tell you that her blood was "green" from being a part of Publix Super Markets. Teresa was a 33 year veteran of Publix where she managed the Bakery.
There was nothing Teresa wouldn't do for her family. She would go out of her way to help a stranger. Probably even more for an animal! She enjoyed riding her Harleys. Teresa worked her butt off. If you needed any confirmation on her work ethic, just ask anyone who was around when she had to roll up her sleeves and let her guns do the talking! She was not afraid of hard work!
Teresa was filled with old school values and the most selfless person around. Teresa is loved by and will be missed by everyone who had the opportunity to be around her.
There was no mold for this lady. God knew she would be one of a kind!!!
Teresa is survived by her daughter Chance Devon Wight; and her son Jonathan Scott Wight; her brother Randy Frye and her sister-in-law Patty Frye; her grandchildren Kylee Brooke Harley, Cameron Haleigh Wight and Jaxson Scott Wight and her nieces Sara Frye and Tina Frye.
A visitation for Teresa will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive, Greenville, South Carolina 29609.
