Terry will be remembered as a kind, easygoing man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved getting lost in old movies, but nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than dancing to disco music from the 1970s. In his younger days, Terry was known to light up the dance floor, especially when disco music was playing, those moments became some of his happiest memories and stories he carried with him throughout his life.
He was a devoted son to his parents, Walter F. Davidson and Nina Holden Davidson, both of whom preceded him in death. Terry showed his love through quiet acts of care and dedication, always putting family first. That same caring spirit carried into his work, where he spent years at Quincy’s Family Steakhouse and later as a cook at Oakmont Nursing Home, serving others with warmth and pride.
Terry shared a special bond with his nephew, Darren Davidson, whom he loved like a son. He will be deeply missed by Darren (Andrea), as well as by his many nieces and nephews who will forever hold onto his memory.
In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Davidson, Allen Davidson, and Fate McClain, and his sisters, Debbie Jochimsen and Doris Gurley.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Terry will be remembered for his gentle heart, his love of music and dancing, and the way he made the people around him feel cared for. He leaves behind memories that will continue to bring comfort and smiles.
