Thomas "Tom" Duncan Bigby

Born in Laurinburg, NC, he was the son of the late Reverend Thomas (Big Tom) Rufus Bigby and Ruth Teresa Evans Bigby.

Tom was a graduate of Berea High School in Greenville, SC and attended the University of SC in Columbia, SC. He lived most of his life in Greenville, SC and Easley, SC.

For more than 40 years he was an accomplished home builder, home remodeler, and building contractor. He was the owner and operator of Tom Bigby Builders, Inc. of Greenville, SC who helped homeowners improve their properties throughout the SC upstate area.

His strength and love of life will continue to inspire those who knew him.

Surviving are his wife, Lynnette (Lynn) Fortner Bigby and son Thomas Jonathan Bigby and his wife Judy Yih Chu Leu Bigby. Also surviving are two sisters Suzanne Davis Glenn and Phyllis Bigby Cothran. He was predeceased by his sister Sandra Kaye Bigby Thornton.

Tom was a member of NewSpring Church in Anderson, SC.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 4 pm until 6 pm at Mackey Funerals and Cremations at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Drive in Greenville, SC.

A private family interment will be on Sunday, August 29, 2021.
