

Anne was born on March 10, 1931 in the Greenwich Hospital to the late Josephine Sarica Salerno and the late Ralph Salerno. She took great pride in her work as a secretary/learning center aide for the newly-developed Federally-funded Title I Learning Center at the Hamilton Avenue School in Chickahominy. Anne was always interested in “The Arts.” She enjoyed singing, dancing, walking, reading, writing, and had several short stories and newspaper articles published.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, David. Anne is survived by her children Mark Cotrupe of Tucson, AZ and Donna Becerra (Nick) of Harrison, NY. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Natasha Arvayo (Mark), Maya Kempton (Randy) of Tucson, AZ, Justin Piciulli of Atlanta, GA, Connor Cotrupe of Milford and Tessa Cotrupe of Industry, ME. She is survived by her great-grandchildren Alana and Aaron Arvayo and Alyssa and Chase Kempton all of Tucson, AZ. She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anne referred to her children and grandchildren as her “jewels.” Her family and friends were the most important things in life. She is also survived by her sister, Carmela Larson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and her brother, Robert Salerno of Orange, CT and her spiritual son, Woody Neeley of Greenwich.
Anne would like to remind family and friends that, “We’ll meet again.”
