Christopher T Harris Jr.

18, of Greenwich died January 8, 2011 at his home. Chris was born in Greenwich on March 2, 1992. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 2010 and was a freshman at the University of New Haven where he was studying music engineering. Chris was an avid music lover who wrote and performed. At Greenwich High School, Chris played football, rugby, and spent all his free time in Ms. Friedman’s class recording music and writing beats.

Chris had a large circle of friends, a great sense of humor, and a love of life. You couldn’t escape his engaging smile. Many recall seeing him at Mackey’s Mobil, where he worked after school and weekends.

Chris is survived by his parents Christopher Sr. and Karen, his sister Emily, and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins who all will miss him dearly.

His family will receive friends from noon to 3 pm and from 5 to 9 pm on Friday January 14th at Leo P. Gallagher & Sons, 31 Arch Street in Greenwich. A funeral service will be held at 10 am Saturday January 15th at the First Congregational Church, 108 Sound Beach Avenue in Old Greenwich.
