

It is with saddened hearts that we share the passing of Christopher M. Mack, beloved brother of Kathleen Young-Jockheck and Ronald Jockheck on April 29, 2015. He lived most of his life in the Greenwich area, living the last 5 years in the Hartford area to be closer to his family. Chris was born in Port Chester, N.Y. on October 6, 1952, son of the late Josephine (Kristoph) Mack and George Mack. He attended Milbank Ave. School and then participated in the ARI programs. There he worked in the housekeeping department, later working at the Greenwich Post Office and finally at the Whole Foods Market until retirement. He was also a participant in the Abilis programs. He loved music and was part of the “Heart and Soul “band for many years as well as being an active participant in Special Olympics. Besides his immediate family, he leaves behind many cousins and special friends. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Chris’s family would like to thank the staff at Hartford Hospital, Bliss 5 for the wonderful care he received over the past 4 months.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 95 Henry St., Greenwich CT. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rye Brook NY.
