

Grace Black, 94, died June 18th, with her family by her side in Mountainside NJ. Grace was born December 1st, 1919 to Robert and Grace Jantzen. Grace married John Black in 1948 and had two children, Constance and John. The family moved to Greenwich Ct in 1960, where Grace resided until moving in with her daughter and son in law, Bill Bradley, in 2006.
Grace was an active member of St. Paul's and Christ Church. Her interests included swimming, gardening and reading. She was passionate in her love for nature and children.
Grace worked for Amax in Greenwich, where she cherished the many friendships she made during that time. Grace devoted much of her time to family and friends.
Mrs. Black is survived by her brother Raymond, her children, John and Connie, and son in law, Bill Bradley, as well as two grandchildren, Ian and Christopher Black, and two great grandchildren, Langston and Cameron Black. Grace was preceded in death by her husband John, and brothers, Robert, Harold and George. Grace had a deep love and affection for all her brother's and husband's extended families.
Donations may be sent to the National Audubon Society, or to your local library. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 23rd, at 11am at Christ Church 254 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich.
