
He was born in Greenwich, CT on February 25, 1980, son of Ward E. and Lorraine (Glinka) Meehan Jr. of Ridgefield, CT.
Ward was a passionate entrepreneur and had a zest for life. He had an energy about him which made people want to be in his presence. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, sports and time with his family and friends. He frequently visits Martha’s Vineyard, Park City Utah and Vermont. He earned his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University and his MBA from University of Connecticut.
He was a loving father, husband, son and brother and will be missed by all the lives he touched.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his precious daughter Madison, his Grandmother Gladys Glinka, a sister Melissa (Donnie) Stagnetta of Trumbull, a brother Jason (Olivia) of Fairfield, a niece Natalie and nephews Giovanni and Jack, His mother and father-in-law Michael and Helen Rasmussen of Ridgefield, brother-in-law Dane of Utah, Jennifer’s grandmother Muriel Rasmussen of Stamford, Many Aunts and Uncles, cousins and countless friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Henry Glinka and Ward E. and Ann Meehan Sr.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 27th from 4pm to 8pm at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home in GREENWICH, 31 Arch Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 28th, 2016 at 10 am at St. Catherine of Siena R.C. Church, 4 Riverside Ave, Riverside CT.
