William Levi Jackson, 84, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2016 in Greenwich, Connecticut. Born May 8, 1932 in Westfield, New Jersey to Levi Jackson and Rowena Tabbs Jackson, William was a longtime resident of Greenwich. William is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Mynita, a daughter, Shirley Jackson, his step-children, Yvette Van Dyke and Vincent Van Dyke, his aunt, Adelaide Robinson, two grandsons; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He worked for many years as a florist with McArdle’s and Stamford Florist. He loved to golf and will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
A Memorial service will follow at a later date at the Kingdom Hall on Fairfield Avenue in Stamford CT.
