Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2016 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith at noon. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; two sons, Joseph Scott Markward of Howe, OK and John Michael Markward of Blairsville, PA; two brothers, Robert Rogers of Fort Smith and Richard Rogers of Van Buren; two sisters, Joann Helbing of Fort Smith and Mary Janette Wood of Van Buren and six grandchildren, Lacy Marie and Marisa Markward of Greenwood, Toby and Stephanie Markward of Greenwood and Joshua Taylor and A.J. Markward both of Howe, OK.
Pallbearers will be Carol McClure, Terry McClure, Randy Loyd, David Crabtree, Tommy Bowen and Gary Bowen.
