So sorry for your loss. I sure loved Ms. Betty! I worked with her in the church nursery at Grand Avenue Baptist several years ago. She always had a smile and always made us laugh. Prayers for you all.

I have so many wonderful memories with Betty.   She was one of a kind.  We made a lot of fun trips together to Pennsylvania,  Texas, Illinois,  Tennessee,  Kentucky,  South Carolina, South Dakota,  all over Arkansas, and so many more.   I've sure missed visiting with her these past couple of years.   She lovingly called me a little varmint.   I learned so much from her,  and have used stories of her Christian example on numerous occasions in teaching my group of ladies.   Rest in peace,  Betty, and we'll see one another and get caught up on the stories one day.  Praying for her family,  whom she loved so much.

I’m so sorry for your loss.  I just want to say how very proud we are of you all for the care you provided to Ms Betty the last 3 years.  I know it wasn’t always easy, you had to put your life on hold, but you did it and didn’t think twice about it.  Not many families are willing to do this .  God will truly bless you one day.  There will be many lonely days/nights, but remember where she is, and who she’s with. She has been a joy to my family theses last few years and it makes me smile thinking about it.   We are here if you need us.

Mrs. Farrar is survived by three daughters, Dorothy Elmore, Margarett Konkel and Patricia Hodgson; one brother, Albert Slavens; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Farrar, brothers, Frank, Charles, Chester, Tom, Walter, Claude and Gus Slavens and a sister Mary Crook.
