Betty Joyce Opitz, 84, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 in Greenwood. She was a retired substitute teacher for the Fort Smith School System, member of Greenwood United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 7 at Greenwood United Methodist Church under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by four sons, Michael Opitz of Colorado Springs, CO, Roy Dale Opitz of Cedarville, Alan Opitz of Greenwood and David Opitz of Greenwood; one brother, Fred Mowrey of Blossom, TX; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
