Bob Fouts

Bob Fouts, 96, of Hartford, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Greenwood. Bob was born August 18, 1927 to O.L. and Avis (McLaughlin) Fouts in Booneville, Arkansas. He retired from LTV Air Craft on January 1, 1983. After serving four years in the US Air Force, he married Mary Evelyn Magnani Fouts. They celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary in 2019. For 15 years, they were members of the Sheriff Posse Riding Club. He also played polo, was an avid golfer and was quite a Dallas Cowboys fan.

He was a member of the Hartford Methodist Church, charter member of Mansfield High School Wall of Fame, past president and vice president for 23 years of the Mansfield High School Scholarship Fund and a member of Hartford Lodge #609.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by seven brothers, Harrell, L.C., Paul, Bill, Troy, Carl and Hascal Fouts and four sisters, Blanche Fouts, Maxine O’Bryant, Pauline Lantrip and Gertrude Fouts.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, August 25 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel of Greenwood with burial at Hartford Memorial Park. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
