Bob Perkins, 83, of Van Buren passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was a retired truck driver and a Missionary Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Perkins and one son, John Perkins.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2014 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Mountain View Cemetery in Hackett. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
He is survived by three sons, Bobby Perkins and wife, Terry of Fort Smith, Billy Perkins and wife, Teresa of Pocola and Don Perkins and wife, Darlene of Sugarloaf; two daughters, Judy Marley and husband, Darel of Van Buren and Deborah Worley and husband, Dan of Okmulgee, OK; one brother, Jimmy Perkins Bonanza; thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joey Rowe, Ricky Decker, Chris Perkins, Brandon Perkins, Shawn Perkins and Jerome Dixon.
