Cainan "Steve" Bogle

Cainan M. “Steve” Bogle was born into this world on March 4, 1997 in Lima, Ohio to his parents, Lester W. “Bill” Bogle and Shawne M. (Lippi) Bogle. He was an amazing gift from God. On May 10, 2014 he was called home to be at God’s side. He was 17 years of age.

Cainan was an avid music lover and talented guitarist. He would play for hours each day. He loved to game, he played computer games with friends from across the globe. He loved math and science and had planned on attending college to become an engineer. He was a good student, almost always making the honor roll. He started each day with a laugh, smile, hug and “I Love You.” Even though he had very few years on this earth, he touched more lives than most men do in a lifetime. This world has lost a rising star and a truly great man. May God comfort and hold him and spread his joy to the people that grieve his loss.

He leaves behind his parents; a brother, Caleb Bogle and wife, Taylor of Van Buren; a niece, Cassia; his paternal grandmother, Ellen Cain of VanWert, OH and maternal grandmother, Lois Lippi of Convoy, OH. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Bogle, maternal grandfather, Albert Lippi and uncle, Brian K. Bogle.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 4 – 6 p.m.
