Calvin Edward Hunt

Calvin Hunt, 55, of Greenwood, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016, in Fort Smith. He was born April 29, 1960 in Waldron, Arkansas to Eddie and Joye Hunt. He was employed at Baldor Electric since 1978.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Renate Hunt of the home; three daughters, Cheryl McKamie and husband, Jimmy of Charleston, Carol Moses and husband, Bruce of Van Buren and Alexis Hunt of the home; one son, Chris Hunt and wife, Jessica of Greenwood; five grandchildren; Raegan Moses, David and Kaiden McKamie, Cooper and Corbin Hunt; four brothers; Dearl Hunt, Garry Hunt, Kenneth Hunt, Billy Hunt all of Greenwood and one sister, Virginia Spangler of Pocola. He was preceded in death by his parents; Eddie and Joye Hunt; a daughter, Amanda Hunt; and parents-in-law, Dale and Margie Moody.

Funeral Service will be 10 am Thursday, January 28 at Howard Hill Assembly of God Church in Jenny Lind with interment at Dawson Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.

Viewing will be 1-8 pm Wednesday, January 27 at McConnell Funeral Home, where family will visit with friends from 6-8pm.

Pallbearers will be Dearl Hunt, Garry Hunt, Kenneth Hunt, Billy Hunt, James Smith, Wes Cantrell, Buck Moore, Jimmy McKamie, and Bruce Moses.

Honorary Pallbearers will be, Doug Kinslow, Ricky Wheeler, Billy Wayne Hunt, Joshua Hunt, Patrick Cantrell, Cory Moore, and Hayden Cantrell.
