

Charles K. Cormack, Sr., 81, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired cattleman, attended Burnville Baptist Church, member of Greenwood Lodge #131 F&AM, charter member of the National Cattlemen’s Association, member of Arkansas State and Sebastian County Cattlemen’s Association, member of Santa Gertrudis Association, charter member of the Greenwood Round Up Club and veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the Korean War.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 at Burnville Baptist Church with burial at Cross Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce; one son, Kennith Cormack and wife, Judy of Greenwood; two daughters, Rebecca Carter and husband, Harold of Greenwood and Catherine Crawley of Clever, MO; one brother, Bobby Cormack and wife, Kathleen of Kerrville, TX; one sister, Doris Knight and husband, Graham of Conway, AR; seven grandchildren, Eric Carter of Greenwood, Carolyn Eoff and husband, Bryan of Fort Smith, Leslie Graham and husband, Chris of Greenwood, Jennifer Cole and husband, Steven of Bolivar, MO, Andrew Cormack of Greenwood, Emily Sibet and husband, Matt of Springfield, MO and Evan Crawley of Nixa, MO; nine great grandchildren, Easton and Chance Eoff, Madysen and Landon Carter, Braxton, Maverick and Lorelai Graham, Bryson and Corbin Sibet.
Pallbearers will be Jim Beshears, Jeff Shirley, Roger Rainwater, Gerald Mann, Rick Williams, Dr. Charles Meisner and Dennis Crawley. Honorary pallbearers will be men from Burnville Baptist Church, Henry Comer, Dr. James Burgess and Jerry Hendrix.
