Connie Ford

Connie Ford, 89, of Hartford, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 10, 2010, five days after her 89th birthday. She was born on July 5, 1921. Connie was a fun loving lady who loved to laugh and to make people laugh. She loved her kitty cats like her babies and she was always taking in strays. Connie loved to do gardening and fishing. Her yard always looked like a park. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stella and Jeff Basinger; two husbands, Carl Hamilton and Kenneth Ford; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Jack Ogle and one sister, Veneda Riddle.

She is survived by one sister, Betty Stallings of Oklahoma City and two brothers, Roy Basinger of Amarillo, TX and Larry Basinger of Greenwood and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 13th at Jones Memorial United Methodist Church in Hartford with burial at Hartford Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be Monday, July 12th from 1-8 PM at the funeral home where family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. .

Rev. Pat Millard will be officiating the service and pallbearers will be Bill Hale, Doug Lively, Roy Hester, Tommy Basinger, Aaron Files and Bob Fouts.
