Crystal Dawn Gracia

Crystal Dawn Newton Gracia left this world to go to her heavenly home Tuesday, January 31, 2012, where she will join her beloved Papa, Dean Croxton. She was born May 27, 1977 to Jaquetta and Jerry Newton. Crystal grew up in Bonanza, Arkansas and was a graduate of Hackett High School in 1995. She was a member of the Bonanza Assembly of God Church and felt her greatest achievement in life was her son, Jeremy Glen, the light of her life. A bright smile and bubbly personality drew people to Crystal and her loyalty kept them there. So many lives will feel the burden of a life cut far too short and the extinguishment of a star on earth, but it will be replaced by the twinkle of another in Heaven.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 6, 2012 in the Bonanza Assembly of God Church with interment at Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Crystal is survived by her son, Jeremy Glen Gregory of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her parents, Jerry and Jaquetta Newton of Hackett; her husband, Armando Gracia of McAllen, Texas; her maternal grandmother, Christine Croxton of Greenwood; her paternal grandparents, Darrell and Nellie Newton of Hackett; aunts and uncles, Margaret and Martin Strunk of Midland, AR, Kathy and Gary Bridges of Greenwood, Diane Newton of Pocola, OK, and Terry and Glenda Newton of Poteau, OK; as well as several cousins, family members, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Bridges, Michael Bridges, Billy Strunk, Mark Strunk, Daniel Newton, James Neal, and Hunter Neal.

There will be no public viewing. A guest book is available at the funeral home from 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday where the family will visit with friends from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M.
