Darla Dean Vandermillion

Darla Dean Vandermillion, 79, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 in her home. She was born to William Otto McKinney and Retha Irene Wilhite McKinney. She was retired from Whirlpool and member of Howard Hill Assembly of God Church.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 13 at Howard Hill Assembly of God Church with burial at Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

She is survived by one son, Audrey Vandermillion and wife, Kaylia of Fort Smith; one brother, Allen “June” McKinney and wife, Sharon of Lavaca; two sisters-in-law, Louise McKinney of Sugarloaf and Betty McKinney of Greenwood and two grandchildren, Judah and Jonathan Vandermillion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Audrey Vandermillion and six brothers, Harold McKinney, Sammy “Bud” McKinney, George “Dob” McKinney, Roy Gene McKinney, Bob McKinney and Jimmy McKinney.

Pallbearers will be Roger Jones, Kieran Tom, Michael Gray, Roger Cook, Eric McAllister and Brian Sevier.
