Darrell Wayne Owens

Darrell Wayne Owens, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was a retired mechanic for the City of Fort Smith and a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Eva Owens; a brother, Tom Owens; sisters, Erma Beshears and Freda Kingery and his companion, Ann Lee Henson.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with interment at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be 9-10 a.m. prior to the service.

Darrel is survived by two daughters, Waynell Kellogg and husband, Terry of Paris, Texas and Darlean Hutchins and husband, David of Spiro, Oklahoma; one brother, James Owens and wife, Linda of Greenwood; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and caregivers, Jo Anne Henson and Bettye Barnes.
