Donald G Lowe

Donald Gene Lowe, 76, of Greenwood, AR passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Fort Smith Glass Company and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Donald is a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenwood, Meno’s Bible Class, and the Harris-Hannah VFW Post #6527.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 13, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Greenwood with interment at 2:00 P.M. Monday at the U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie of the home; three sons, Gary Lowe and his wife, Monica, Gregory Lowe and his wife, Nora, all of Greenwood and Ronnie Lowe and his wife, Angie, of Sallisaw, OK; a brother, Larry Lowe of Greenwood; a sister, Margie Clow and her husband, Donnie, of Greenwood; seven grandchildren, Nicole Berg, Grant, Lawson, Tyler, Whitney, Chance, and Hunter Lowe; and five great grandchildren, Blake, Bryce, and Brittney Langway, and Drew and Kale Lowe.

Pallbearers will be Lawson, Tyler, Chance, and Hunter Lowe, Blake and Bryce Langway, Nicole Berg, and Whitney Lowe.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of Meno’s Bible Class at the Greenwood First Baptist Church.

Viewing will be from 1:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday, December 12th at the funeral home where the family will visit with friends from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M..
