Dorothy June McLaughlin, 86, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a homemaker, member of the Barling Assembly of God Church and the widow of John McLaughlin.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2010 at the Life N Christ Church in Rock Island, OK with burial at White Bluff Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 pm.
She is survived by two sons, Hugh McLaughlin of Hackett and Randy McLaughlin of Bonanza; eight daughters, Sue Clark of Natural Dam, Carole Raache of Ft. Smith, Jennifer Turner of Sunrise Beach, TX, Lura Hartsfield of Bonanza, Kathy McBride of Pocola, Debbie McHugh of Fort Smith, Ella Gray of Pocola and Wanda Bowles of Fort Smith; fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great grandsons.
