Ed Bitticks, 89, of Lavaca, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in his home. He was retired from the Civil Service, member of the Scottish Rites and 32 degree Mason, a Shriner, member of the Lavaca Assembly of God Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, March 27 at the Lavaca First Assembly of God Church with burial at the U.S. National Cemetery with military honor under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Monday.
He is survived by his wife, Lynelle Bitticks of the home, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Bitticks and his daughter, Darla Susan Clay.
Pallbearers will be Nick Buford, Chris Buford, Ken Quinata, Jim Corbell, Jackie Williams and Rob Meredith. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Meredith, Richard Benedict and Jeffery Benedict.
