Erma Dean Moore, 85, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2026 in her home. She was born September 21, 1940 in Hackett, Arkansas to John Cliff and Shirley Nadine (Richmond) Trotter. She was a retired hairstylist at JC Penny’s Salon and member of Valley View Church of Christ. Erma was an avid gardener and loved working in her flower beds. She enjoyed going fishing and attending Blue Grass music festivals.
She is survived by two daughters, Amy Moore of Hackett and Jill Secrest and husband, Bob of Hackett; three brothers, J.C., Max and Robin Trotter; two sisters, Alice McBride and husband, Danny and Jo Ann Trotter; two grandchildren, Robert Secrest and Britany DeWitt and three great grandchildren, Conner and Emily DeWitt and Maddie Secrest. She is also survived by Homer Michael and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bobie G. Moore and two brothers, Tom Trotter and Bill Trotter.
Graveside service will be 9 a.m., Tuesday, April 7 at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
