Helen M. (Padula) Browning

Helen M. (Padula) Browning, 85, of Greenwood, Arkansas, formerly of Morrilton passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born January 23, 1938 in West Warwick, Rhode Island to Angelo and Clementina (Gasparri) Padula. She was a member of the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James G. Browning; one son, Paul Browning and wife, Kim of Morrilton; one daughter, Ann Marie Hester and husband, Gary of Greenwood; a daughter-in-law, Tammy Browning of Conway; two sisters, Joanne Stafford of West Warwick, RI and Marie Adams of North Franklin, CT; one brother, Joseph Padula of Wyoming, RI; five grandsons and two granddaughters; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Browning, three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, May 8 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 1 p.m. on Monday prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Paul Browning, Shawn Browning, Shane Browning, Joshua Browning and Joseph Browning.
