James Gilbert Garner, 72, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a commercial contractor.

He is survived by three sons, Jeremy Rhodes, Jay Garner and Rowdy Garner; one brother, Monty Garner; one sister, Judy Brunson and five grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 9 a.m., Saturday, March 19 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Sawyer Cemetery in Sawyer, Oklahoma. Viewing will be Friday from 2 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
