Jamie Leigh Carter

Jamie Leigh Carter, 51, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 in her home. Jamie was born January 17, 1974 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Tommie and Bonita Rhamy. She was a member of the Lighthouse Family Worship Church in Witcherville and was a loving grandmother to Cambria.

She is survived by three sons, Blake Burroughs and wife, Taylor of Maryland, Logan Petersen and wife, Elizabeth of Greenwood and Landon Carter of Greenwood; her parents, Tommie and Bonita Rhamy of Greenwood; two brothers, Marc Petersen and wife, Kathy of Greenwood and Bryan Rhamy of Witcherville; one sister, Christina Crawford and husband, Tim of Sallisaw; one granddaughter, Cambria Petersen and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Phyllis Hart.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, February 14 at Lighthouse Family Worship Church in Witcherville under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
