

Jimmy Dale Corgill, Sr., 78 of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 in his home. He was retired from Union Pacific Railroad, manager of Corgill Construction, member of the Disabled American Veterans, BMAD of LeFlore County and Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, August 13 at Mount Zion Baptist Church with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Tuesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; four daughters, Susie Corgill of Hackett, Tierra Prunty and husband, Steve of Dallas, TX, Sherry Ramsey of Harrison and Shannon Goodson and husband, Victor of Odessa, TX; one sister, Martha Reese of Childress, TX; seven grandchildren, Jimmy Corgill and wife, Crystal of Witcherville, Sarah Campbell and husband, Bill of Greenwood, Katelynn Richardson and Alexis Richardson both of Dallas, LaTrisha Ramsey and LeeAnn Ramsey both of Harrison and Alec Anderson of Odessa, TX; three great grandchildren, Kaylee Corgill and Susie Campbell both of Greenwood and Aden Elmore of Witcherville; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim Bob and Thelma Corgill; his wife, Norma Lee Douglas Corgill; one son, Jimmy Dale Corgill, Jr. and his sister, Lona Marie Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Corgill, Bill Campbell, Steve Prunty, George Isbell, Carl Rine and Billy Strong. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Atkinson, L.P. Cole, Ernie Richardson, Billy Youngblood, “Big Mike” Bradley and Damon Sadler.
