Joyce Ann Walker, 75, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 in hospice at Mercy Hospital. She was born August 5, 1940. She was the daughter of Jack and Justine Cockrum, who have preceded her in death. She was a bookkeeper by trade, homemaker by heart and a pastor’s wife for 53 years. She attended First Freewill Baptist Church in Greenwood.
She is survived by her husband, pastor Jim Walker; her two sons, Mark Walker and wife, Donna and Darren Walker and wife, Melinda; six grandchildren, Taylor Walker, Abbey Walker, Madison Walker, Sydney Walker, Christian Walker and Hayden Walker.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2015 at First Free Will Baptist Church in Greenwood under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation will be Sunday night from 6 – 8 p.m. at First Free Will Baptist Church in Greenwood. Burial will be Wednesday in Cookeville, Tennessee.
