Judy Beth Hicks

Judy Beth Hicks, 84, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 2, 2025 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born December 23, 1940 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Jess and Ellen Ruth (Scott) Caldwell. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Jimmy Dewayne Hicks; one son, David Hicks and wife, Marla; one daughter, Sherry Hicks; two sisters, Ruthie Sweeten and Jeanie Schroyer; four grandchildren, Kelsey Hicks, Breanna Plymale, Brandi Lanigan and Jack McAllister; seven great grandchildren, Logan Stallings, Leslie Fondren, Brandon Carver, Branson Carver, Jess Carver, James McAllister and Natalie McAllister and four great grandchildren, Melody, Willow and Freya Fondren and Alice Stallings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Joy Hewett and Margaret Repass.

The family will have a memorial service at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 28 at the Greenwood Church of the Nazarene with food and fellowship to follow. Judy’s ashes will be interred at Washburn Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
