Judy Elaine Shockley

Judy Elaine Shockley, 77, of Barling, Arkansas passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025 in her home. She was born August 11, 1948 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Randolf and Mildred Blackman. She retired from the Fort Smith Public School System and worked at the Barling Senior Citizen Center and Mercy Crest as a cook. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by one son, Ben Chase Shockley of Rowlett, TX; one daughter, Kimberly Shockley of Barling; one sister, Shirley Vaughan of Van Buren; two grandchildren, Jacob Shockley and William Shockley and a nephew, Jerry Blackman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Jack Shockley and a brother, Lee Blackman.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m. There will be a private family burial at Steep Hill Cemetery.
