June Helen Bowden

June Helen Bowden, 88, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 in her home. She was a retired secretary for Montgomery Ward and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Private graveside service will be Saturday, April 18 at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood.

June is survived by her son Larry Rogers of Phoenix, Arizona; two step-sons, Leonard Bowden and Ricky Bowden both of Del City, Oklahoma; five step-daughters, Peggy Spanglo of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Debra Speck of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Carol McCage of Noble, Oklahoma, April Ryland of Slaughterville, Oklahoma, and Melissa Robinson of Noble, Oklahoma; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and her devoted caregiver, Duane Carter of Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Bowden and her siblings.

Pallbearers will be Wesley Weaver, David Weaver, Dr. Eric Johnson, Duane Carter, Gary Hughley and Bonifasio Basacoy.
