Lawrence “Larry” Mitchell, 91 of Fort Smith Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in Greenwood. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, veteran of World War II and a 32nd degree master mason. He was preceded in death by his wife Antoinette Mitchell.
He is survived by three daughters; Laurie Smith, Jean Ann Mauldin and Karen Lee Palmatary, one brother; Fred Mitchell, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2015 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood.
