Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday, December 9 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Washburn Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 pm.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; three sons, Bill Perkins of Hoschton, GA, William Perkins of Greenwood and Robert Perkins of Van Buren; three daughters, Peggy Jeffcoat of Fort Smith, Dorothy Gable of Fort Smith and Linda McAllister of Booneville; one brother, Preston Perkins of Booneville; two sisters, Joan Roach of Booneville and Patsy Franklin of Duncan, OK; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
